At Black Sheep Farm East, located in the Shenandoah Valley, stands handsome Glenords Christopher Robin, a 14-year old Clydesdale/Morgan who competes in eventing, dressage, jumping and fox hunting. He has sired over 60 foals, and according to his rider/trainer, Ann-Louis Markert of Round Hill, VA, “He is the best-natured stallion around. Robin is in the ribbons every time he goes out.
Here’s Robin enjoying the surf at Assateague Island, VA. Beside him is one of Robin’s daughters, Glenords LaNina, out on the hunt with owner/rider Sarah VanderVliet in southern Maryland. What an adventurous father/daughter pair they make! Robin is fed a custom mix prepared by Southern States and furnished through the Salisbury Farmers and Planters store in MD.
